Whether you're here because you've been personally impacted by substance misuse or you're looking for more ways to give back to your community, we're glad you're interested in sharing your gifts and time to support our mission. Our volunteer needs change and grow with us; learn about some of the opportunities that are currently available.
We encourage and celebrate those who have lived experience with substance misuse and have found their road to long-term recovery. Your experience is valuable to those seeking support in any stage of recovery. If you feel called to support others in their journey, consider volunteering your time and experience to facilitate group meetings.
We regularly join our law enforcement partners in medication take-back events where residents can drop off any unused or expired medications to be safely and properly disposed of. As a volunteer for these events, you help our community in keeping these substances out of our water supply and away from the wrong hands. Events last 2-4 hours and gloves and instructions are provided.
As a nonprofit organization, we want to ensure that we can continuously sustain and expand our programs. Fundraising and awareness campaigns help us keep our important work going and inform others about the services we have available. Dedicated volunteers help us staff special events and fundraising events throughout the year, such as our Jingle Jog. Other assistance involves prep work leading up to the event, serving on a planning committee, and aiding in outreach and promotion.
This may be anything from data entry to making phone calls and assisting with filing and documentation. We welcome computer-savvy volunteers to help us with the tasks that keep our operations running smoothly.
