Support for our youth and their parents: a youth services two-fold approach

Separate from Hope Coalition's Recovery Community Center, which focuses on aiding adults in recovery, our youth services programs support ages 18 and under, with complimenting classes for parents/guardians who want to enhance their skills or simply desire support from other parents with children in recovery. Youth programs occur at Grace Blue Ridge Church in Hendersonville, home to Hope Coalition's Main Office.

Teen Court

Henderson County Teen Court is a diversionary court that keeps first and second-time juvenile offenders aged 11-17 and 18-19, out of the court system. The offenders who are willing to admit guilt are held accountable for their actions. A jury of the juvenile’s peers may assign the juvenile to counsel, restitution, curfews, community service, or other rehabilitative measures. Teen Court programs are proven to reduce recidivism rates of young people and to restore their relationship with the community.
